Sarah joined Because as administrative coordinator, where she's the friendly first point of contact for supporters and manages shipping, office upkeep, and the hundred little things that keep an office running. She was born and raised in a hand-built cabin in scenic North Idaho. Sarah has been married to her husband Kris since 2015, and together they're raising four incredible kids. She has her degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and has a professional background that spans colleges, prisons, churches, child support, medical offices, wealth management and even leak detection—all customer-facing and administratively based. In her spare time, she likes to breathe fresh air, laugh at things big and small, fight the system, play games and learn new things. She hopes to travel internationally in the future. In the meantime, she's exploring the world through food, art and knowledge.
