Philis is an Information Technology graduate who joined Because International in August 2025 and currently serves as West Kenya Program Coordinator, with a primary focus on Busia County. She leads and coordinates the distribution of The Shoe That Grows, ensuring efficient delivery to children in vulnerable communities and effective implementation of program activities across the region.

She has strong knowledge and experience in community engagement, empowerment initiatives and field operations, with a passion for creating meaningful and sustainable impact within communities. Her previous experience as a Centre Manager strengthened her ability to build strong relationships with school leadership and community stakeholders, enabling smooth collaboration and successful implementation of school-based programs.

Philis is recognized for her professionalism, empathy, and ability to work effectively with diverse communities. She approaches her work with dedication, responsibility and a deep commitment to service.

She is also a proud mother of two, balancing her professional responsibilities with family life and a continued passion for community development.
