There are several ways to create your legacy.
WILLS AND BEQUESTS
You can designate a donation or a portion of your estate to Because International by using the language below in your will. Those who include Because in their estate plans are invited to join our Legacy Club.
I [name] of [city, state], hereby bequeath [name of securities or personal property and other descriptors, such as serial name] to Because International, a nonprofit organization located at 1415 1st Street South, Nampa, ID 83651 for its unrestricted use and purpose.
I [name] of [city, state], hereby bequeath the sum of [$] or [%] of my estate to Because International, a nonprofit organization located at 1415 1st Street South, Nampa, ID 83651 for its unrestricted use and purpose.
STOCK DONATIONS
Donate long-term appreciated securities—like stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares—by having your broker transfer them directly to Because International electronically. Refer to the instructions below for account information.
In order for Because to process your gift, it is important that you or your broker notify our team of the gift and include all of the below information in the DTC transfer instructions:

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS
Designate Because International as one of the beneficiaries of your retirement accounts (IRA, 401k, 403b), life insurance policies and/or annuities.
IRA QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION
If you are aged 70.5 or older, you can make a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA as a tax-free donation to Because International.

Leaving a legacy isn’t about what you accumulate, but about the impact you leave on our world. That’s why I’ve chosen to leave a portion of my estate to support Because International.
Their dedication to providing shoes that grow, and creating job opportunities in impoverished communities, deeply resonates with me. Poverty is a complicated issue, and Because believes in the power of innovative product solutions to effect positive change. Through their accelerator program, they offer crucial support to young entrepreneurs who are generating employment and also driving transformative change within their communities.
By rallying around the shared belief that tackling poverty requires collaborative effort, Because inspires hope and fosters resilience. My support for their cause stems from a belief in the potential for collective action to bring about lasting change.
By investing in Because’s mission, I hope to play a part in building a more equitable and meaningful future for all.
