We do not feature any fundraising pages on our website at this time.

Because we are a non-profit organization, we are responsible for ensuring that all donations go directly toward getting shoes to children in need. This means that money you have raised cannot be used for personal travel expenses such as luggage and airport/transportation fees. It also means that if you are wanting the shoes to be sent internationally, funds cannot be used to cover import duties and taxes charged on the shoes upon arrival in said country.
We do, however, allow funds to be used to cover the cost of shipping the shoes.

Once you reach your fundraising goal or decide it’s time to end your campaign, reach out and let us know. We'll provide you with a custom discount code that will allow you to place your order through our website using the amount that's been fundraised.

Tip: Ask your supporters to consider donating funds for a specific number of pairs ($20 for 1 pair, $40 for 2 pairs, etc.)
Option 1
- Beginning on your Classy fundraising page, select the email icon above the donate button in the top right corner
- This will open your default email and populate a subject line, some preset text, and the link to your fundraising page
- We recommend personalizing the subject line and text, and including a few details about why you’re fundraising!
Option 2
- From your Classy fundraising page, click the “Manage” icon in the top right corner
- Click on the “Emails” tab
- Select “Ask for Donations”
- This will populate an email template that you can personalize. We recommend including a few details about why you’re fundraising!
- Once your message is ready, click the checkbox to copy the message
- Paste the message into a new email in your personal email account
- It will populate the message as well as a link and the image you’ve chosen for your fundraiser
How to successfully navigate the Classy platform and peer-to-peer fundraising process

Make the first donation yourself.
- The activity in your fundraiser will encourage others to donate and will show that you’re invested.
Personalize your page.
- Upload photos
- Share your story and why this is important to you
Start with your inner circle.
- The people who are closest to you are more likely to give than acquaintances
- Make a list of 5-10 people who you will ask to donate to your page prior to sharing your page publicly.
- Let them know what day you’re launching your page and ask them to share your page!

- Go to the Classy login page
- Select Forgot password?
- Enter your email
- Select Send
- If a Classy account is linked to the email, you'll receive an email with a link to Reset Password.
- If you don’t receive an email, try checking your spam folder.
- If you ensure you’re checking the correct email and have checked your spam folder and still haven’t received the email with instructions to reset your password, you can go to Classy.org for additional resources and troubleshooting.

Tip: make sure to save after each edit to avoid work being lost.
- On your fundraising page, click the “Manage” icon in the top right corner. This will take you to a new page where you personalize your fundraiser and add details.
- Upload a profile picture following the dimension guideline
- Set a fundraiser nickname: this is what people will see when they come to your fundraising page. You may use your own name or the name of the church/organization you’re partnering with to fundraise for shoes.
- Add a page headline (located beneath the fundraising bar on your page): this section serves as an elevator pitch, meaning that if you only had a few seconds to share about what your fundraiser is and why you’re doing it, this is what you would share. Include relevant information such as the cost of the shoes, what your goal is and a bit about the kids who will benefit from The Shoe. Summarize by sharing how people can be involved.
- Fundraising end date: this date will not affect your fundraiser. Your page will not close on the end date, but the system does require an entry in this section.
- Fundraising goal: you may adjust this at any time, whether you’d like to higher or lower the goal.
- Save your vanity URL: enter a name or word (no spaces) that will be included in the link for your fundraising page. This will direct people to your page.
- Story: share more about why you created this fundraising page. What resonates with you about Because International? What do you love about The Shoe That Grows? Why is this fundraiser important to you?
