Harliet joined Because in early 2024 to support entrepreneurs and alumni of the Because Accelerator. Prior to joining the team, she attended Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya to study public relations and marketing. Later, she launched her own consulting business—Think Opal—where she supported social enterprises across East Africa in need of marketing, leadership support, and sales strategies. In her spare time, Harliet enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and participating in outdoor activities.
