Because International Awarded Murdock Grant

Nampa, ID: (September 25, 2017) Because International, a non-profit organization that focuses on the impact of innovation to break the cycle of poverty, announced that they have added a new team member. This news came after the non-profit was awarded a grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Because international accepted a three-year grant in May to fund a full-time Development Director position. 

The newest team member is Dr. Rev. Nathan Roskam, from Nampa, Idaho, who joined Because International on September 5. Roskam’s background in church ministry and his experience in the non-profit space and fundraising program development will add value to the future direction of the non-profit. His expertise is expected to enhance Because International's efforts to increase partnerships and support for innovative products, and mission of practical compassion for those locally and globally challenged by poverty.

On the company’s recent addition, Kenton Lee, Founder said, “Nathan is the perfect person to lead our exciting fundraising programs and guide our organization through a time of growth and important decisions. His history as a founding board member of our organization gives him an excellent perspective on what was important to us in the past and where our mission and vision is going to take us in the future.”
